With green grass flowing, I remember it still

With new growth abounding you could hear the earth sing

And the smell of wild flowers used all of its powers
To burn in my mind a memory that day

Lost in the darkness life void of light
But not alone
For I listened and heard His voice calling me home

And with the blood of His Son He washed all darkness away

At my birth
Surrounded by love I came into this earth
He was there
To claim me and fulfill my parent’s one prayer
