Tom & Amelia have some great music planed for this event! Don’t miss this nature, music, and history-filled afternoon of discovery along this special path originally formed by bison and deer, adopted by the Native Americans, and eventually followed by Adam Sherrill to the west side of the Catawba River, now known as Sherrills Ford.
Please dress for outdoors and uneven natural terrain, and feel free to bring a chair or blanket. Look for the HEARTS Welcome Table beside the Sherrills Path map.
Google Map location to trail head: at 142 Adams Tree Way, Troutman, NC
Free: But must have tickets, donations are greatly appreciated!

Tom Eure & Amelia Osborne release their joyful celebration of the season, "A Promise Of Hope"… The follow up to their critically acclaimed collaboration "The Coin, The Prayer & The Crow", an album which No Depression Magazine said “…comes off as the result of a genuine artist pouring old wine into new bottles and making listeners believe”. With "A Promise Of Hope", Eure and Osborne continue to mine the tradition and roots of Folk, Celtic and Appalachian influences with new found depth and passion. The CD offers up original Christmas carols that feel like home, while breathing new life into classic Christmas hymns. The production on "A Promise Of Hope" finds these two multi-instrumentalists working their magic with fiddles, banjos, guitars, bodhrán, mandolin, viola, cello as well as poignant vocals and harmonies. As a special treat on tracks 1 and 6, the Christmas spirit shines even brighter, when Tom and Amelia are joined by a chorus of handbells, directed by Ed Tompkins of Morning Star Lutheran Church (Matthews NC). Tom Eure & Amelia Osborne take the listener through an acoustic and lyrical meditation that courageously exclaims that the spirit of Christmas is alive and well, and offers "A Promise Of Hope".
